The South Big Data Innovation Hub is hosting its annual All-Hands Meeting on June 9th from 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM at the Microsoft Chevy Chase Pavilion in Chevy Chase, Maryland (near the Friendship Heights Metro). The event will feature presentations by the NSF and current Spoke projects, a fireside chat on collaborations in data science, and breakout sessions focused on new Spoke proposal team building. Space is limited, so register now!

  • AI: The Catalyst for Government Transformation Symposium at Intel from 8 AM - 12:30 PM ET in Fairfax, Virginia. Click here to register.

  • Microsoft Azure Training from 9 AM - 5:00 PM ET at the Microsoft Chevy Chase Pavilion in Chevy Chase, MD. The training is free if you register through this South Hub invitation. The Azure workshop will familiarize researchers and data scientists with big data storage, machine learning and advanced analytics, cognitive intelligence, container and batch services. Instruction is hands-on; participants will spend most of the day working on proctored labs. Each attendee will receive an Azure Pass with a $500 Azure credit that can be used up to one month after the workshop.
